[edit] Update on APP projects

The APP website says that they have conducted numerous studies about how to achieve their goals, and are moving into the "implementation phase." Criticism of APP suggests that the APP is low on substance, but to be fair to APP maybe we should look at these projects and see if they don't give some substance and promise some results.

[edit] %GHG emissions

"Member nations account for around 50% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions" - members of ASEAN or members of the Partnership? It isn't clear. Nor is the % sourced, which would be nice. Rd232 08:35, 6 August 2005 (UTC)

I think it's member to the partnership. If ASEAN were added, it wouldn't make much different though since ASEAN doesn't produce much GHG (though, if you consider deforestation, maybe). Still, I donno if I answered the question. __earth 12:01, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Support?

The support section is puff so far: no refs at all William M. Connolley 20:05, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

In addition, it contradicts the article; it states that Canada is showing interest in joining when it's already listed as a member. Perhaps deleting wouldn't be a particularly radical option? The Last Melon (talk) 05:51, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
What I'm really dying to know is what do critics think about the lack of mandatory limits on greenhouse gas emissions?? 71.128.203.12 (talk) 03:38, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Alive?

Is anyone pretending this thing is still alive? It doesn't seem to have any meetings scheduled: http://www.asiapacificpartnership.org/APPMeetings.htm William M. Connolley 23:04, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
