Asif Iqbal was detained in Faizabad on suspiciont of involvement in the attack on the holy site of Ayodhya in 2005.[1]

Iqbal is suspected of being committed to a different political affiliation for Kashmir.

As of July 26, 2006 Iqbal remains in custody.[2]
