An international network of proven leaders in the educational, financial, and developmental sectors have guided to develop this university. The Asian University for Women Support Foundation (AUWSF), incorporated as a non-profit organization based in the United States, serves as the main planning and fund raising organization for this painstaking effort.
The Asian University for Women is based in Bangladesh and will open in April with an inaugural class of over 125 students. 2008.[1] AUW will offer a five-year program leading to a combined Bachelor's and Graduate degree, drawing on the best international and regional models of teaching and learning and a faculty recruited from throughout the region and the world.
