Regarding your recent uploads, [1], [2] and [3], [4], and [5]: are these pictures under the GNU Free Documentation License, and do you intend to put them to use in an article where they help illustrate the subject at hand? If not, Wikipedia is not the place for them. Livajo 01:07, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Woman picture
Is your woman picture that you used to replace the original picture at Woman REALLY appropriate?? 66.245.121.70 02:05, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
i hope it :) AshSert
My apologies for using the rollback feature. I was forced to because of a technical problem. Had I been able to, I would have put "please take your concerns to the talk page" in the edit summary. So I'm having to ask you to do it here instead. Theresa Knott (The snott rake) 22:33, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I'm interested in what you want to "save the child" from? Theresa Knott (The snott rake) 22:52, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
AshShert, we've finally got something like a consensus on the image for Woman; please contribute to the discussion on Talk:Woman if you have concerns, rather than reverting. —Tkinias 22:56, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- The Naked Maja is a 15 yeahrs old Model by Francisco Goya, earlier what this a woman. But today, one is a child with 15 and and not suitable for nude presentation. -AshSert-
-
- Please prove this - how do you know how old the model was? As far as I can tell from searching on the internet no one knows who the model was. Some think the picture was painted from several different models. Also even if she was 15 how is showing a very famous painting by a very famous artist going to harm a model who is long dead? Finally it's not as if she has her legs spread - what's wrong woth showing a tasteful picture on an article about women - note that the picture is already linked to several other pages on wikipedia.
-
- One last thing - we have a rule here that you are only allowed to revert an article 3 times in any 24 hour period. You've reverted 4 times today. Please don't do that again. Edit wars are not good things. Theresa Knott (The snott rake) 23:29, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
-
-
- it is 15 from anatomical view, and another pages imply no sensitive materials over women or women psychology. -AshSert-
-
-
-
-
- It's simply not possible to tell from a painting the age of a model. The model could have been 40 and Goya made her look younger; as Theresa notes, the identity of Goya's model (or models) is not known. She clearly is not intended to look like a child; she is portrayed as a fully adult woman in physiological terms. Tkinias 03:04, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Arcade hardware info
AshSert, I notice you've been going about to the arcade game articles and adding hardware info. You also added that section to the default infobox for arcade games. Long ago, we discussed adding this kind of info to the box and decided against it. So, please don't keep adding the hardware info to the boxes.
If you really want to include the information in the article, do it in the body of the article and not in the box. The infobox is meant to give one "quick information" on the game. Hardware info is more detail than we want to give at a glance. Adding in a new section of the article will also give you more room to describe the hardware than is possible in the infobox. Thanks for your contributions. :-) — Frecklefoot | Talk 20:01, Jan 27, 2005 (UTC)
- I have 11 Games with Hardwareinfo complete now, I should remove all? :-(
- I think is better when we make (optional) and for more Details you can click on the Hardware System!
- This game runs on the Sega System 16B or so! see Alien Syndrome
- AshSert
AshSert, I am not going to engage in an edit war with you. I reverted your edits and you went and reverted them back to the version I disputed. I explained my position on the A.P.B. Talk page, which you apparently ignored. Simply put, the hardware info dominates the infobox and makes the rest of the information harder to find. Please see the discussion I started on this topic on the Wikipedia:Arcade games Talk page. — Frecklefoot | Talk 22:10, Jan 27, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image:A prisoner dying under torture.jpg
Hi, concerning your recent upload, there are two points being discussed on the talk page Talk:Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse.
- Where does this picture come from and what (precisely) does it depict? How do we know it's a dying prisoner?
- The picture hasn't any licensing information and will probably be deleted unless you supply it.
Could you please tell us where you got it and what the licensing is? If these questions can be cleared up, and the picture is related to the Abu Ghraib torturing, I will support its being put on the page. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 11:32, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Stop!
AshSert, you're going through all the arcade game articles and adding marquee images. While this would normally be fine if the images were obtained legally (public domain, fair use or you took the photos yourself), it looks like you're just lifting off the Internet from random sites. Citing the place you obtained them from is not sufficient! If you are getting any type of permission from the web site owners, please indicate it on the Image's page. Otherwise, we can't legally use the images, so stop adding them to the articles! — Frecklefoot | Talk 20:01, Mar 30, 2005 (UTC)
- OK, then leave out I the Source, but I must remove them not all, or? :{ AshSert 20:19, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)
-
- I assume this is related to the revert war going on at Pac-Man. Can someone shed some light on this for me? All I have it the patchy edit summaries by you and User:DaveGorman. Can you please resolve it first in discussion on Talk:Pac-Man before reverting any more? --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 22:14, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, you must remove them all. Actually, User:DaveGorman has removed a fair number of them, but they need to be deleted from Wikipedia entirely. That is, the image must be deleted, not just links to it. — Frecklefoot | Talk 18:22, Apr 12, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Polyplay5.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
