Hi. (: I am an eighteen year old Christian university student from North Carolina. I love to read about teen witches & wizards and the occasional dreamy vampire (I'm for Edward). But... that doesn't really define me, if you can understand. (:

Until recently, I went by my first and last name, so if you were looking for User:Ashleyscripter and you were confused about your redirection, know that you're at the right place. (:
I changed my username because:
- I use "ashleyyosaurus" on numerous websites since it's cute;
- it also makes a reference to a thesaurus my love for words;
- going by my first and last name was stupid. (:
[edit] As a Wikipedian
Though I've technically been at this since 2006, I only recently became active when I came to college and found a bit more time to be at my computer. I only know the basics of editing, and my contributions are normally made by reverting vandalism through my watchlist or the Recent Changes page. I am learning a lot very quickly, and this is due in large part to my adopter, Gimme danger.
I love grammar. I love editing the bad grammar of others. It gives me a sense of fulfillment to know that I actually learned something in high school. I recently did an intense and thorough copyedit of The Hobbit as part of the League of Copyeditors. If ever you notice improper grammar from my end, please point it out to me! I live to learn from my mistakes.

Though fangirl has become a rather nasty term, at its root, it describes me when concerning a few specific spheres of obsessions.

I am sure this will grow as I become more capable of actually doing things on Wikipedia, but in the meantime, it is what it is. (Plus, I wasn't sure what to do with my userpage to begin with, and a to do list was suggested.)

Otherwise, I use Wikipedia for almost everything. When people who don't understand it hear me mention it, they always say, "You do know that it isn't a reliable resource, right?" I can't say I enjoy the company of those people: I feel they should spend more time on the Web, expanding their knowledge of obsolete subjects.
