Talk:Ashton, Stalybridge and Liverpool Junction Railway
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I can see little justification for this railway having a separate article. It was only in existence for less than three years; it then became part of the M&LR - which does not have an article, since the existing one, for no apparent reason that I can see, was moved to become the L&YR!!!! - which then became part of the L&YR. The L&YR was itself the amalgamation of a large number of constituent railways, only one of which was the AS&LJR. I am sure that the majority of the others do without an article - so why this one?
