shouldn't this be "Ashford, New South Wales", not "New Sales Wales"? If so, please move this. Gwimpey 05:23, Dec 21, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] town or village?

The article says Ashford is a "town" of 600 people. That sounds moer like village-size to me. I believe that the feining feature of a town is that it's incorporated and has a governing council (the town council) with a mayor, elections, etc etc - none of which I believe Ashford has. Someone more knowledgeable than I might like to check this. (Incidentally, it gets its name, presumably, from the much larger and more famous Ashford in Kent - yet the Kentish Ashford doesn't seem to have an article at all!) PiCo 04:39, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
