From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ashworth University is a for-profit commercial distance education school located in Norcross, Georgia. Ashworth University is composed of the former Ashworth College and its parent company Professional Career Development Institute, established in 1987.[1] Ashworth University also operates Ashworth University High School, formerly James Madison High School, a distance education institution that awards a regionally accredited high school diploma. [2]

Ashworth University markets itself as a leader in "lifestyle-friendly learning," a reference to the flexibility given to students to study at their own pace without the need for physical attendance in classroom settings. [3] The school offers distance education classes with mailings through the United States Post Office, online on the Internet or a combination of both.
