Ashutosh Pandey is currently working with DD News as a correspondent. An IIMC alumni, Ashutosh covers issues related to Wildlife and Environment. He has produced several critically acclaimed programmes highlighting imminent environmental issues. Prominent among them are (i) "A Global Warning", a programme revolving around the menace of Global warming and Climate Change. (ii)"Majuli- The Jewel of Brahmaputra", a programme on constant erosion of Majuli(the world's largest riverine island)at the hands of the mighty Brahmaputra.
Ashutosh on the sidelines of Nagaland Assembly Elections extensively covered a remote village which takes pride in being the country's first green Village. People of Khonoma, as the village is known, have today devoted themselves for the cause of environment and have given up hunting and other practices which have a detrimental effect on the environment.
Ashutosh has interviewed environmentalists and dignataries including the likes of Rajendra Pachauri, IPCC Chairman, Jacques Diuof, DG, FAO, Kandeh Yumkella, DG UNIDO, Mike Pandey, eminent Environmentalist and filmmaker and Shashi Tharoor, Former UN Under Secretary.
