Ashtar Galactic Command

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ashtar Command (or Ashtar Galactic Command) is claimed to be an extraterrestrial organization associated with and promoted by New Age believers and contactees, including George Van Tassel[1] and others.

The channelled entity Ashtar Sheran is the purported leader of the Command. People receive this name through channelling (or in dreams). Originally, the singular Ashtar transitioned to the collective Ashtar Command by channeller Robert Short.[2] Two of the most prolific channellers publish the messages they receive under the adopted names Tuella and Tuieta which, in their version of the UFO pantheon, the Ashtar Command consists of several named beings with distinctly defined roles.[3]

Sananda Maitreya is from an organization known as "the Ashtar Command" dating from the 1950s that claims links to extraterrestrial life. Sananda Maitreya is a "Master of the Great White Brotherhood", who is said to be the incarnation (or avatar) of the soul of Jesus Christ.[citation needed]

[edit] History

In 1977, Vrillon, a purported entity of the Ashtar Galactic Command, interrupted UHF audio broadcasts on the regional ITV network from the Hannington transmitter of the Independent Broadcasting Authority. These interrupted transmissions from the local station Southern Television and featured a voice which spoke over the broadcast from Independent Television News (ITN) for approximately 6 minutes. The interruption affected approximately 100,000 viewers in the Hampshire/Berkshire area. Those responsible have never been caught. [4] In this transmission, it demanded that all weapons used by human beings to be laid down and peace must be restored.

In August 19, 2004, Henry David Stites claims to have channelled Ashtar Sheran to receive a transmission, of which several starships from the Ashtar Command and the Galactic Federation entered their final resting positions in preparation for the forthcoming Declaration of Cosmic Freedom.[5]
