Ashraf Safdar

Ashraf Safdar Husain (born 29 February 1980) is an actor and former journalist from Singapore. He is probably best known to the public in Singapore as a judge on Season 1 of the International Emmy Award-nominated TV show The Arena, which was broadcast on Mediacorp Channel 5 in 2007.[1] Has also worked as a reporter for Channel News Asia and the Today newspaper, and has appeared in a number of theatre productions in Singapore.

Representing Raffles Junior College, he won the JC section of the Singapore Plain English Speaking Awards in 1997. He holds degrees from the University of Chicago and King's College London.
