Ashok Prasad is a behavioral scientist who held adjunct professorship at Columbia University in New York City. He is primarily known for his work on anticonvulsants in bipolar disorder. He was awarded Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award in 1983. He was elected a Fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Sciences.[1]
