Ashley Weinhold

Ashley Weinhold (born June 20, 1989 in Tyler, Texas) is a professional American tennis player. Weinhold's highest singles ranking was World Number 366 on February 19, 2007. Her highest doubles rank was World Number 327 on March 10, 2008. She has received six various entries into the U.S. Open, and turned professional in 2007. Weinhold enjoys playing on clay, and has been playing tennis since age two. She has not won a WTA title, however, has won a total of three titles on the ITF. Weinhold turned professional in 2007.

Weinhold received a wildcard into the 2006 U.S. Open qualifying draw, and lost in the final qualifying competition. She also was given a wildcard to enter the doubles event with Jamie Hampton, where they lost to Anna Chakvetadze and Elena Vesnina 6-2, 6-2 in the first round. She received a wildcard to compete in mixed doubles with Donald Young, where they lost to Fabrice Santoro and Nathalie Dechy, 6-2, 6-3.

In 2007, Weinhold received a wildcard into the main draw of the 2007 U.S. Open. There, she lost to Chakvetadze 6-1, 6-1. In doubles, she received a wildcard, where Weinhold partnered Madison Brengle but lost in the first round to Stéphanie Foretz and Yaroslava Shvedova, 6-0, 6-3. Ashley and Ryan Sweeting lost in the first round of the mixed doubles competition to Vladimíra Uhlířová and Simon Aspelin, 4-6, 6-3, [10-8].
