Ashley Vallance is a London based actor.
Ashley trained at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating with a First Class BA(Hons)degree, as well as receiving the Principal's Award for Musical Theatre, and the Singing Award. Whilst training Ashley represented GSA in the BBC Carlton Hobbs radio awards.
On graduating, Ashley played the parts of Young Scrooge / Peter Cratchit in 'A Christmas Carol' for the English Theatre Company (Vasan Theatre, Stockholm), a show to which he returned a year later reprising the same roles. Other theatre credits include: principal vocalist in the hugely successful 'Spirit of Broadway' (Branson Variety Theatre USA and the Guildhall, Portsmouth); Jamie in Sleeping Beauty (The Courtyard, Hereford); Soldier in Nightingale (Electric Theatre, Guildford); Henry Croft in the workshop of a new musical 'Jellicoe' (Shaw Theatre, London) and Eddie in 'Zip Goes a Million' (Covent Garden Festival , London).
'Zip Goes a Million' was subsequently recorded, and Ashley can be heard on the 2001 London cast recording. Further recordings include the world premiere of Carl Davis' 'The Pilgrim's Progress' in which Ashley played Faithful, and 'Just Arrived' - a concert recorded live for Danish National Radio.
In 2004 Ashley played Alex Bryan in the 'forgotten British Musical' 'Grab Me a Gondola (Theatre Museum, London) and then fulfilled a dream by playing Seymour in the Jersey Opera House's production of 'Little Shop of Horrors'. Ashley received rave reviews for his portrayal of Seymour (alongside Tracy Shaw as Audrey) and transferred with the show to the de Montfort Hall, Leicester where an entirely new cast included television's Clare Buckfield.
Ashley played Lefou in the national tour of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' for two years which was immediately followed by a stint as Buttons in 'Cinderella' (Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford) for the 2006/2007 Christmas period.
