Ashley Gibson is a rugby league player who plays for Leeds Rhinos and has also represented England. He is one of only seven players to score a hat-trick of tries, on their debut for Leeds (the others being Bryan Adams, David Smith, Eric Grothe, Sr., Cliff Lyons, Phil Ford and Marcus Bai.

He signed for Leeds as a 16 year old from local Amateur club Stanningley where he was voted the best player in Leeds at his age for three years running. As an amateur he was mainly a Loose Forward and also started there for Leeds but was soon moved to Full Back in the u-18's compatition. Soon after he made the transition from a Full Back to the Centre he is now.

Ashley Gibson was ruled out for a long period in the 2007 season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against the Catalans Dragons.
