Ashley Cooper (born February 23, 1988 in Cambridge, New Zealand) is a singer and former contestant on the second series of New Zealand Idol. After being the third person to be eliminated out of the top ten on idol (mainly because she was a shocking singer), she released her first single "I Want You", which debuted at nineteen and eventually peaked at number eleven. Most of the single's success can be based on the physical sales of the single, rather than airplay, which it rarely received.
So far Ashley is taking a break from music, and is working at a cafe.[citation needed]
Ashley is known to be deadly with all forms of hand to hand combat except Greco Roman Wrestling as that type of grappling is just weird
