Chambers has been at the club since he was eight, and has been tipped for a great future alongside other young players at Leicester like James Wesolowski, Richard Stearman, Alan Sheehan, Levi Porter, Conrad Logan, and Joe Mattock.

After being a consistent performer for the Leicester Under-18s and reserves, he made history on 20 September 2005, becoming Leicester's youngest ever player, aged 15 years and 203 days as he came on as a substitute in a Carling Cup second round win over Blackpool. He made his league debut against Cardiff on November 26, 2007.

[edit] International

He has already represented England at Under-17 level and scored a Hat-Trick on his debut against the Faroe Islands in the Nordic tournament in the summer of 2005.

Chambers recently represented his national England u18 side against Andorra and scored twice in winning 5-2.
