Ashfield (HM Prison)

Ashfield Prison is a British prison at grid reference ST695759 in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire near Bristol. It is built on the site of a former adult remand centre. It is managed by Premier Custodial Group (PCG), part of the Serco Group.
The prison accepts remand and sentenced young males between the ages of 15 and 18. The majority of its sentenced young persons are completing detention and training orders. Its capacity as at 31 January 2006 was 380. Of these, there are approximately 40 young people serving sentences of over 12 months on the Section 91 unit.
