Asheem Singh (born 28 November 1982) is a screenwriter for film and television. In 2005, he was one of the featured "New Writers at the BBC" and his films The Camping Trip and The Manual have been broadcast on BBC 2 and ITV1 respectively.
A native of North Yorkshire, he was a David Blank Scholar in Law at St Catherine's College, Oxford University. He is a graduate of the Creative Writing MA at the University of East Anglia where he was awarded a substantial grant by the UK Film Council. In 2000 he received the highest marks in the British GCE A-Level examinations.
