[edit] A welcome from Sputnik

Hi, Asfandyar, Welcome to Wikipedia!
Hello, bonjour, salut, privyet, konichiwa, shalom, hola, salve, sala'am, bonjourno, and hi! I'm Sputnik. I noticed that you were new and/or have yet to receive any messages so I just thought I'd pop in to say "hello". We're glad to have you in our community! I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it's so big but we won't bite so Be Bold and get what you know down in microchips! If you do make a mistake, that's fine, we'll assume good faith and just correct you: it'll take a few seconds maximum! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful. If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you. Here are a few links to get you started:
And remember:
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.
  • P.S. I'm happy to help new users. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)

Happy Wiki-ing!

[edit] El Centro Cultural de Mexico

Thank you for starting the article. And welcome to Wikipedia. One hint: try to use categories that already exist. If you need help with anything, don't hesitate to ask.--Rockero 05:19, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Urdu translations

Hi, I'm trying to build up a database to create articles on political parties on different wikipedias. Could you have a look at User:Soman/Lang-Help-ur? Thanks, --Soman 14:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mazandaran Language

Dear Isfandiyar, i saw you have added the persian as main language since it is the official language of iran but people in mazandaran have the local language in it's own right, Thank you for your contribute, please keep to improve the articles about Tabaria --Ali 16:41, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mehfil

Hello, could I bother you to add the Urdu spelling of Mehfil? I assume that the spelling in the Arabic language would be the same (is that correct)? Because we need the Arabic spelling in the article as well. Many thanks, Badagnani 08:35, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, it looks right--someone has added it to the Mehfil article. Does it look correct there to you? Badagnani 01:01, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Infoboxes

I have been looking through the output of my bot and have found a large number of articles such as Cadet College Skardu and many other cadet colleges on which there are subst'd infoboxes. You should know that infoboxes, in general, should not be subst'd. The main issue is that this template was not correctly formatted so all of these pages need to be edited (I'd be happy to help) so that they can be checked by the bot. Can you tell me which template you used and what other pages you've used it on. Adam McCormick 02:29, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

I'll go ahead and make those recognizable, would it be helpful to have an infobox template for such schools or have they all been created? I'd be happy to put one together if it would be any help Adam McCormick 13:33, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox Afghanistan Province

Hello. First thanks for that infox, you did an awesome job. But recently I see the template for Iran Province, take a look here please. I tried changing it to make it look like that one but I am new to this. Can you plase make the Afghanistan Province template look like the Iran province template? I'd really appreciate that. Thanks a ton. --Behnam 05:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
