Ascot Road tube station is a proposed tube station in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. It is the first station to be built on the Metropolitan Line's proposed Croxley Rail Link diversion to Watford Junction. This station is to replace the abandoned station of Croxley Green. It is also to replace the current Watford tube station and cease the branch. The station is projected to become an interchange with bicycle facilities and local transportation. [1]
The station's entrance will be from the west side of Abbey Road. The booking hall and other station facilities will be at street level. The trains will run over the extension of the viaduct link and platforms will be accessed by stairs and lifts.[2]
