Founded in 2001 by Jim Beebe, Curt Doolittle and Steven Salta, Ascentium has grown quickly [1]. It is ranked 27th largest digital agency according to 2008 Advertising Age Top 50 Digital Agencies [2]. Ascentium is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. As of March 2008, Ascentium employs more than 500 with offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Spokane, Baltimore and London.

Ascentium consults with companies on technology and marketing strategies, and builds technology applications, including websites. They aim to help companies increase customer lifetime value by designing, building and supporting applications for client customers, employees and partners.
As a full service interactive digital agency, Ascentium provides both B2C and B2B brand strategy, market research, Web design, search marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, online advertising, relationship marketing and loyalty programs, all supported by analytics and focussed on measurable and trackable ROI. Through its wholly-owned advertising subsidiary MWR, Ascentium provides advertising, direct marketing and media services.
Along with its focus on marketing, Ascentium concentrates on business application platforms and system integration. Ascentium is Microsoft's largest sales partner for Microsoft Dynamics CRM[citation needed], and is a partner for Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS). Ascentium also provides Business Intelligence (BI) services, agile application development, outsourced product development and technical infrastructure.
Ascentium's clients range from mid-market to Fortune 100 companies, including Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Boeing, McKesson, Nintendo , Starbucks, The Motley Fool, Expedia, Paccar, Infospace, The U.S. Air Force, Motorola, Nucor, Nordstrom, USDA, T-Mobile, The Portland Trail Blazers and Providence Health Systems[citation needed].
