[edit] Summary
The crater in the center is Isisorus, with Capella attached along the eastern rim. The Vallis Capella feature runs through Capella crater from the top of the frame to the southeast.
This image was taken during the Apollo 16 mapping metric sequence, revolution 18. The selenographic coordinates of this image are 8.30° S / 33.00° E. The picture was produced by rotating the image 90° counter-clockwise so that north is toward the top edge, reducing it in size by 50%, then cropping the picture to display the two craters.
