Arya Dance Academy was established in 1998. Arya Dance Academy, is dedicated to teaching South Asian dance techniques. It is largest Indian dance studios in the tri-state. Student ages range from 3 years - adults.
Based primarily in tri-state area (NY/NJ/PA) Arya has now grown to 12 states and 74 cities.
Arya's teachers are well groomed under the tutelages of pioneering dance gurus such as Birju Maharaj, Kumudini Lakhia, Mrilani Sarabhai, Sarmishtha Sarkar and Prashant Shah.
Arya's dance team members are truly versatile. They perform to classical dance styles as Kathak and Bharatnatyam, Bollywood Filmi Fusion (Hip Hop style), Indian Folk dances as well as modern classical dance incorporating Ballet and Jazz.
Since 2004, the Academy has been responsible for dancers and choreography displayed at the Bollywood Movie Awards, Bollywood Music Awards, and Bollywood Fashion Awards.
