Arvind Kumar Burdak is Lieutenant in 11th Sikh Light Infantry. He is from village Palthana in Sikar district in Rajasthan, India. He is the son of Pratap Singh Burdak from village Palthana in Sikar district. He got Shaurya Chakra award from President of India, Shri APJ Abdul Kalam Azad on 2 November 2002 for his acts of bravery in killing three terrorists in J & K on 1 July 2001 at an altitude of 13200 feet in a headon encounter.
