Arupa Kalita Patangia

Arupa Kalita Patangia is an Assamese novelist and teacher based in Darrang, India. She is the author of over ten novels and numerous short story collections. Her novels include Mriganabhi (1987), Millenniumar Sapon (2002), Dawn: A Novel (translated by Ranjita Biswas, 2004), and The Invitation (translated by Arunabha Bhuyan).

Arupa Kalita Patangia teaches English at Tangla College, Darrang, Assam. She is a well-known feminist writer of North-East India.
