Arumbakkam is primarily a residential locality in Chennai. Notable landmarks in Arumbakkam are, D G Vaishnav College, Daniel Thomas School, Kola Perumal School, Panchali Amman Temple, Ford Showroom. The Chennai Bottling Company (popularly known as the Gold Spot Company) was located here, and has now been converted into a car dealership. This area is surrounded by main localities like Koyambedu, Aminjikarai, and Anna Nagar.
