"Notability is not judged by Wikipedia editors directly. As is the case in other aspects, when it comes to notability Wikipedia is a reflection of what exists in the world. The notability of a subject is judged by the world at large. A subject is notable if the world at large considers it to be notable."

I'd say that the world at large has already spoken - would you mind shelving this issue?

'The world at large' seems to consist mostly of people who have joined Wikipedia for the sole purpose of trying to save this company; I suspect many of them have been directed here from Dave Gray's blog. Veinor (ヴエノル^(talk)) 15:18, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

I've never been to his blog, however, I find it very 'notable' that they would come here in attempt to keep the entry from being deleted. I find nobody else here who is familiar with him, his company, or anything else who wants it to be deleted. Only those who obviously know nothing about the issue are casting their vote for deletion. Perhaps the Wikipedia guidelines should be updated to allow for events such as these to take place.68.143.2.60 15:50, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

The fact that a group of people doesn't want an article deleted doesn't mean it shouldn't be; WP:NOT a democracy. If we allowed the majority to make the rules, then vandals would run rampant. Veinor (ヴエノル^(talk)) 21:47, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
