Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/X-1 (rapper)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
First off, this guy has been an active Rapper since at least 1998, appearing on several Onyx albums, as well as solo albums from Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr. ANY fan of Onyx would know who he is, and heard of him. Someone else even added to the page I created, stating how he has an upcoming solo album in the works, they also added a DOB, which means he is obviously known.
Just because he isn't as famous as rappers like Jay-Z or Eminem, does that mean he shouldn't have his own wikipedia page? Or is everyone ready to attack this particular article because it is that of a RAPPER? I wonder if the same would be done for a ROCKER'S page. The reason I created this article has nothing to do with "death" of any sort. I wasn't even aware that he was dead, and I created the article before any such event happened (as someone above mentioned).
http://allhiphop.com/blogs/news/archive/2007/07/05/18221025.aspx There is a citation to prove that people knew who he was, just because YOU might not have known, doesn't mean his article should be deleted. If that's the case, I should go random article hopping right now and vote for deletion whomever I've never heard of...or would that be wrong?--Tainted Drifter 07:12, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
