Actually this university is one of the major universities of India. I am not aware of the type of contents which the page had - one day, I would like to create the page with suitable contents. We continue to have 1000s of pages on NN entities. I find a tendency to avoid modifying the contents by the participants - perhaps they may not be aware of the major universities in India. It looks like it was deleted as a copyvio, not for non-notability; in fact, the vote on the AfD was in favor of keeping it. Thus, it's fine to create a new (non-copyvio) article under the name. *Dan T.* 16:09, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Make sure the other one doesn't read like an ad, too (as that was another reason for deletion, though in this case that was BECAUSE it was a copyvio). --Rory096 22:02, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
