The author is a trained sports journalist with two degrees from an accredited university and 9 years professional experience. As such, the observations comprise a report, much like a doctor would edit an entry concerning a medical procedure or other sports reporters using blogs as columns.

The author has previously given the official nickname to the football arena in which the Odessa Roughnecks play in the IFL, by naming it during a television sports broadcast on Saturday, May 8th, 2004.

Respectfully, the author suggests waiting for a name to be assumed by the entire sports media community before deletion, in order that the entry can be edited to relfect said name, which may or may not be "The Scramble & Gamble"
