The film itself and the cast highlighted for The Signal is an example of another independent film like any other independent film that already appears on wikipedia.

But, I did not know the specific guidelines for adding films or televison projects. After reading the guidelines, I still find this film to be notable on this website. It is an independent film that shows an example fo the evolution of filmmaking. However, in compliance to the guidelines the film is not ready for submission to wikipedia but, should be after more valid information is made available.

Also some of the cast appeared and starred in projects that have been deemed acceptable to wikipedia thus they are noteworthy. In fact, three of them were not tagged at all so, those specific cast members should not be lumped into a category for deletion.

There is a difference between being "real" and being "notable". I for instance am real, but I'm not really very notable. I'm not suggesting the movie is made up, I'm suggesting that it doesn't really meet the guidelines we would normally want a film to meet for inclusion. I mentioned the other film of the same name to avoid editors researching the notability of this film with the other film of the same name.--Isotope23 20:19, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
