Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/The Dangerfields

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Being one of the hardest working bands (if not THE hardest working band) in the United Kingdom, having played 686 gigs in 6 years, having sold at least 5000 records/cd's simply by touring hard without funding or any kind of publicity other than diy promotion makes The Dangerfields a fairly notable band in my opinion.

But appart from that The Dangerfields meet the following Wikipedia Music Criteria:

  • Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one large or medium-sized country,[1] reported in notable and verifiable sources.

They have done multiple Tours of The UK and Eire many lasting up to a month or more at a time (2 years ago they played 40 gigs in 40 nights) they have also done 3 Mainland European Tours: 2 Tours of Germany in November 2002 & October 2003 and a Tour of Netherlands/Germany in April 2004. And have a European Tour scheduled for August 2006

  • Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable; note that it is often most appropriate to use redirects in place of articles on side projects, early bands and such.

Singer/Drummer Andrew Griswold has played Drums for The Queers a very well known American pop punk band.
