Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Synthetic philosophy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Please do not delete the article.

I am its author and I would like to make 4 points.

  1. The article provides an accurate and concise account of synthetic philosophy.
  2. Synthetic philosophy is notable. It is an approach to philosophy that addresses widespread concerns amongst contemporary philosophers and it is already helping to define the direction the field in taking. We believe this merits inclusion in an encyclopedia.
  3. It is true that all but three of the references in the Wikipedia article were to the synthetic philosophy’s website, but, as it was decided just over a year ago (as the article states) to use a wiki as the main medium for the expression and development of the project, rather than books and/or journal articles, the syntheticphilosophy.com site is the most appropriate place to source.
  4. All the material on the synthetic philosophy wiki is fully referenced to the primary sources. To refer to the primary sources directly in the Wikipedia article would probably be difficult, though. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
