Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Sympoe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am not sure why this article is being considered for deletion. The journal which features the example poem (a poem that isn't even on this site) was properly referenced.
Joshua Gray has a page on his on Web site that talks about the poetry form, and as far as I can see, there was no cutting or pasting going on, with maybe the exception of the rhyme scheme, and the rhyme scheme is a conventional pattern and so can't really be put in any other way.
The author of this article obviously discovered the poetry form, liked it, and wrote about it in his/her own words. So unless you can copyright an idea, I don't see why this would be deleted.

[edit] Are you kidding me? This is great!
Wow, I wish I had thought of this first!
Thanks to whoever wrote this article.
Wiki volunteers -- I give permission as it is currently written. So why is it up for deletion?
Oh, BTW -- I am the real deal (read "real poet")-- don't believe me? I added permission on my site as well...
