Hello

As you may know, Wikipedia has several articles on suicide, including one titled "Suicide Methods" at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_methods . A Google search for "suicide method" gives this article as its first search result.

There is currently a debate between Wikipedia contributors about whether this article should be deleted from Wikipedia. The debate involves many questions about who would read this article and whether it would prevent suicides, encourage suicides, or make no difference. The full debate is shown here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Suicide_methods_%283rd_nomination%29 .

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide:

  • any information that would help the community evaluate the risks and benefits of keeping this article in Wikipedia.
  • any suggestions you have on how to improve this article, or other articles in the series

If you can send me anything, I will post it on the relevant Wikipedia discussion pages. You are of course also welcome to edit any of these pages directly.
