Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Section 47
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What copyrights? This is not a fan site it is a trivia/RPG site founded by Section Admiral Tettares Hepta and maintained currently by Section Admiral Duke Nova. Who are you all to nominate this for deletion when you apparently don't even know what this site is about?
And as long as their permission has been given, and it has been, there are no copyright violations. Anything that could have copyrights is mentioned on the website itself.
[edit] What?
OK, I have to chime in here because you guys are being absolutely pathetic. Before you put up a freaking copyright violation did you even bother contacting the site owner to check if there was one??? Obviously you didn't and I think it's quite clear a couple of you may have a personal bias. If you're going to take such a drastic measure in nominating a page for deletion you should atleast do your homework first and research for A copyright violation. Talk about abuse of power.
- Copyright doesn't work that way. Anything is copyrighted, unless specifically mentioned otherwise. The Section 47 website doesn't say its contents are in the public domain. In fact, it quite explicitly states that anything created for Section 47 becomes the property of Section 47. Talk about doing your homework... Besides, you shouldn't be so upset about Wikipedia actually protecting Section 47 property. I support the Section 47 article on Wikipedia, but what you said just isn't right.
