The topic of Regional Anesthesia (RA)should be kept by all means and not combined with Nerve Blocks page for the following reasons: 1) "Regional Anesthesia" is a general term for the group of different induced conditions. "Nerve Block" is one of the types of "Regional Anesthesia". Other types are "Local Anesthesia" and "Spinal and Epidural Blocks". 2) Though RA always leads to blockage of certain nerve or nerves, the methods of inducing such blockages are different. "Nerve Block" means particularly blocking the conduction over specific nerve or group of nerves (i.e n.radialis). So in order to prevent mixture of different meanings of words, the Regional Anesthesia topic should be kept, though definitely require improvement by a specialist - anesthesiologist or anesthetist.
