Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/PowerSteering Software

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I propose this article should not be deleted, as it meets the criteria for an acceptable article:

  • WP:CORP - Criteria for Companies #2 - The company or corporation is listed on ranking indexes, produced by well-known and independent publications.
    • PowerSteering is listed in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for PPM, their Hype Cycle for Manufacturing, and their Hype Cycle for PLM. Gartner is a well-know IT analyst firm, and has strict criteria for inclusion.
    • The company is also covered by AMR Research, another well-known and indepented analyst firm.
    • The company has several thought-leadership sessions listed with ISSSP.
  • WP:AUTO - link to blog removed. Sorry - please forgive a newbie mistake.
  • WP:SPAM - while I am involved in the company, it does seem to be relevant to the lists in which it is included. Since there is a section specifically for listing companies that provide software in certain categories, it is appropriate, no? Many of the company listing pages appear to be self-maintained. Certain parts of the pages - such as screenshot - can only come from the company. I've been careful to not gratuitiously include it in a number of non-relevant categories.
  • WP:VSCA - V,S,A already addressed above. C: While this company may not be of interest to the general population, it certainly is of interest to anyone interested in the category in which it is listed - project management software.
