Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Porkbusters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What, so any campaign or activist project needs to meet your personal stamp of approval in order to be worth providing information on? Whether or not Wikipedia has an entry on it, the Porkbusters campaign is the collaborative effort of a huge number of people, writing to their congressmen and putting up the legislation that brings money to their localities. It exists and I can't see any justifiable reason for there not to be an entry here about it. As always, those within the wikipedia community are well within their rights to edit the content; if they believe the campaign is irrelevant or has had no influence or never will, they can say so, preferably adding further sources to the article when they do. Of course, those who believe otherwise are also within their rights to try and check them, and that is how I have been led to believe the system works here. Calling for the deletion of this simply because you don't like the sound of it demonstrates a stunning lack of comprehension of just what it is that Wikipedia is all about.--Amargo Scribe 21:17, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
As a Reagan Democrat I think the Bush Adm has grown the Fed Govt way too much. In my mind there are tons of unnecessary programs and projects being done with my tax$. Pork busters is great! If we cut *all* the pork the budget will be smaller in 07 than it was in 01 (FYs)
