Keep. I don't see any copyright violation at all. If this article is removed, might as well remove all Shakespeare plot summary and forbid anyone talking about plots of any movie/book/TV show that he/she had seen. The plot summary on the other hand allows me to enjoy the show more and indirectly adds value to the show. Good job in creating this article.Wonster 21:09, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Technically, plot summaries of Shakespearean texts can't be copyright violations because any copyright has long since expired. More generally, there is a bunch of law on when plot summaries of copyrighted texts constitute copyright violations, and some of the major factors are the depth of the plot summary and the relationship between plot and other information. As far as similar primary sourced plot summaries go, I think Ultimate Spider-Man (story arcs) and Ultimate X-Men (story arcs) are good examples of what the Naruto plot pages should strive for. (Of course, even those pages are much improved by their use of secondary sources). Thanks, TheronJ 21:19, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
