[edit] "Temporary keep"?

The result was Temporary keep per OTRS Ticket # 2007072910013442

First time I've ever seen or even heard of a "temporary keep".

I'm not familiar with OTRS, but I hazily infer from OTRS that somebody has sent email to the Wikimedia Foundation in which he or she asserts a confidential reason for retention (or deletion) of the article. Really? This sounds batty to me. -- Hoary 09:19, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, sounds a bit batty to me, too. A temporary delete might be appropriate with a BLP, but a "temporary keep?" KP Botany 19:41, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh, hello KP. It's good to see that we agree on something. Or then again, perhaps it isn't, as we were having such a good time arguing with each other on the "project page" and I hated to see that interrupted. Really, I didn't intend to have the last word, and think it was most unsportsmanlike that you were shut up at that juncture by some trifling speeding ticket or parking ticket or whatever. Please feel free to lob the ball (history book) back at me on this discussion page. -- Hoary 00:51, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Finals. You'll have to wait until Friday. However, I want to research Paul Mowatt off-line, and ask some friends who are fashion photographers. IF the article is deleted before then, I can recreate if I have good material to recreate from. Better to do something solid. KP Botany 18:12, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
