Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Olympic games medal count
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am not an admin, but I speedy kept this. It got multiple speedy keep votes (and no deletes). Plus, it was invalid due to the improper placement of the tag (e.g. template vs. main space). As well, the nominator conceded the articles shouldn't be deleted, but merely fixed. So, I consider this an unconested speedy keep, but I won't revert anybody who reverts me. I don't see allowing this deletion message to last for 5 days on so many articles, especially in the midst of the Olympics. --Rob 20:43, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. I'm not an admin either, and I was the vanguard of the "speedy keep side" I was the one who made the fixes to the pages this morning and then pat came in and all of a sudden tried tro delete it. ah well. its over now. --Jared 20:47, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- That's not a problem. Admins are the ones who close deletion debates mostly because they have a "delete" button :). Good job on having the insight to close this nomination early.--Sean Black (talk) 23:14, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
