Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Nobacherie

  • Nobacherie is a real word, and I can assure you that the comments on the project page were made by many different people, not merely aliases as was thought.

Please see http://www.derrenbrownforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=8905 and http://www.lepapillionmagique.co.uk/Forum/credits.html for full details.

  • First off, we can easily trace it back that those people were or weren't the same. Eitherway, it doesn't really matter since it won't really change the concensus, as there were still more votes for deletion than for keeping the article. The comments Mel Etitis placed were merely there to point out that these users probably only signed up to place a vote, and are likely visitors of either the Derren Brown Fora, or lepapillionmagique.co.uk.
Second off, if you want this to be readded, you can nominate it for undeletion..but I don't think that it has a high chance of being let back. The overall opinion is that a word used on a just a few internet fora is not notable enough to earn itself a place in Wikipedia.
I'm sorry that I couldn't really help you with bringing the article back, but I hope this comment gave you some insights into the misty meadows which Wikipedia tends to be :) -- SoothingR 18:45, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
