Given that this kind of idea is proposed again and again, a strong statement on its acceptableness by the community will be an invaluable reference for future discussions. There's no harm it letting it stay open, and editors are generally happier when they have a say, even when the result isn't in much doubt. WilyD 20:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Better to let it run full course. The other thing to watch is that this vote discussion will probably get publicised outside Wikipedia and will probably draw a lot of meatpuppets. The normal policies should be emphasised. DJ Clayworth (talk) 20:51, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
