Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Montres allison
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just wanted to respond to the author of the article who accuses me of having an axe to grind against the company (which I now assume the author is affiliated with). I don't. And I have *never* authored a post on any message board about the firm, nor do I know anyone who has. The only reason I took up editing the page was that I had read of the firm on Google groups, looked it up on wikipedia, and found what appeared to be an advertisement for the firm. I figured that editing the page would be a fun and easy first wikipedia project. Information on the company is pretty widely available, and I tried to be neutral by citing criticisms of the company and its proprietors as well as the company's own press releases. I encourage other editors to look at my earlier versions of the article. I definitely want to become a positive contributor to wikipedia, so any advice you all have for me would be more than welcome. As for this individual wanting to get a hold of my IP address, this is worrisome and a little threatening. I think deletion of the page would be good for everybody-- the author would no longer need to worry about negative information about the company being on wikipedia, and the encyclopedia's standards for neutrality and notability would be satisfied.--Newt43 04:00, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
