Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Minnesota State Highway 127
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- OK, I stand spanked. People LIKE every short segment of roadway enough to keep it, despite its obvious failure to meet the WP:N standard, the WP:RS standard or the WP:V standard. This vote is a case of vote solicitation on a noteboard, and spamming. Inkpaduta 03:19, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just a bit of advice, but comments like these make you come off as a sore loser and people will take you less seriously in the future. Seeing that this is just a week old account, maybe you should become more familiar with the policies that you are citing. N was mentioned in the main debate. RS, well if you don't think the Minnesota Department of Transportation is a reliable source, then I guess you must not think anything published by any form of government is reliable. V, well drive up to Minnesota and stand on the asphalt if you want, but those sources that you have reliablity problems with do say it exists, unless of course you have past experience of following a road map and a road not being where it says it is. Finally, AFD is not a vote, so it is not possible to solicit votes. Letting fellow members of a WikiProject know that one of their articles is being considered for deletion is hardly vote solicitation. It could 10 to 1 delete and the article could still be kept if the deletes fail to come up with any rational explanation as to why the article should be deleted, works the other way as well if the article blatantly violates policy, which this article doesn't mind you. --Holderca1 10:44, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
