[edit] Extent of its Operations

  • There are about 400 pages of original content, plus about 50 pages of math puzzles.
  • In December of 2005 there were 128,000 visitors and 1.4 Million page views (a remarkable ratio of 11 pages viewed per visitor)
  • The Worksheets section has over 2,000 printable worksheets that are accessed several thousand times daily by schools in many countries.
  • It has notable entries for:
    • Long Division
    • The Multiplication Quiz
    • The Connect 4 Game
    • Who Owns the Fish Puzzle
    • Kindergarten Worksheets
  • Google list it well for terms such as "Maths", "Long Division", "Times Table", "Connect 4"
  • Altavista record 6,700 websites that link to it.
  • The "Math Is Fun Forum" has 2,500 members and over 20,000 posts

And, as I said, this is no fly-by-nite operation, it has been in existence for 5 Years (6 Years come April).

I will hunt out media coverage and post later. MathsIsFun 06:18, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What other sites say about this site

I have been trawling through logs, and have got only 10% into them, but have come up with these:

This is a long and independent review: [[1]] Another smaller review: [[2]] Another: [[3]]

Kenny Felder liked my multiplying negatives page: [(at end)]

General Schools (examples only from a thousand plus schools that link to website) US Schools: [[4]] [[5]] [[6]] [(first link)] [[7]] [[8]] [[9]] [[10]] [[11]] [[12]] UK Schools: [[13]] [[14]]

Best Long Division: [[15]] Colorado Dept Education: [[16]] Coordinate Alien: [[17]] Spanish Math Website: [[18]]

And the site DOES get mentioned in the media, but then it rolls off again. I have managed to find one references that has stayed, though: [[19]]

There is more in the logs somewhere (with 6,000+ sites linking in it is very tedious to find), is that enough? MathsIsFun 09:43, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
