If Leroy Jenkins deserves a wiki entry, then Joe far far exceeds him.

Everyone here is saing "Joed" is not widely used or part of a narrow online world. Well here's something you may not know Eve has over 19000 players and growing daly and recived E3 Most Innovative Award from Stratics (witch can be seen atE3 2006 Awards . The use of the word has be growing but the story behind it is not known. For those who play this game it is one of the funnest moments that have happened in a very long time. If Leeroy Jenkins is worthy of a page why not this? I've seen alot on Wikipedia I have never heard of but thats why this is here isn't it? I do hope this page stays as it is the funnest thing I have heard of in the game and I would like to thank Assur for taking the time to tell it.

  • Comment The Leeroy Jenkins phenomenon has a much higher profile than this - apples and oranges (even though they are both fruit). Jammo (SM247) 09:52, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Or, to put it another way, how many times has "Joed" been included in a Jeopardy! question? How many sites are selling "Joed" coffee mugs and t-shirts? No comparison. Even if every one of those 19000 EVE players is using the word, it doesn't constitute notability, or even a notable internet meme, if you can't document it spreading outside that community.
