Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/James Wesley Rawles

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KEEP: It appears that your notoriety litmus test is the mainstream media, which in this case, is not appropriate. Anyone with a basic knowledge or interest in preparedness {the term we use in place of survivalist/survivalism to avoid the negative connotations given by the main stream media} will most likely know who this man is, and a great deal about him. He is quite notable in his field, but preparedness is not well represented, in quantity or quality by the mainstream media. --Musick david (talk) 12:53, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

KEEP: Jim Rawles' influence in the survival community is undisputed. There are thousands of entries in Wikipedia who are known only in their particular circles, and yet are not targets for deletion. This smacks of censorship. Solidasarock (talk) 15:41, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
